The BEAD is a seven-panel cap with a flat visor. The front is made of cotton twill with a density of 235 g/m². The back is polyester mesh, and a plastic closure adjusts the size.
The mesh back lets air through, so the cap stays comfortable to wear. One adjustable size fits different head sizes. The cap measures 22 × 16 × 11.5 cm and weighs 63 g. It comes in black, white, bright blue, dark blue and army green.
