Printing terms
To ensure the best print quality, please follow these terms. If you have any questions, get in touch with us.
File requirements
AI, EPS, PDF
The recommended formats. They scale without any loss of quality. Text must be converted to outlines.
PNG, TIFF, PSD
At least 300 DPI at the actual print size. PNG with a transparent background. JPG is not recommended.
CMYK or Pantone
RGB screens show colours differently from print. Convert your file to CMYK before sending it.
Colour accuracy
Colour deviation
Small colour deviations of up to 10% are acceptable, because print colour systems (Pantone, CMYK) differ from what you see on screen (RGB). This is not a production defect.
Pantone colours
If you need an exact colour match, include the Pantone code in your order. The print colour is matched to the closest Pantone equivalent.
Embroidery colours
Embroidery colours are matched to the thread colour chart. An exact match is not possible, but we will get as close to the shade as we can.
Print area and quality
Print area
Every product has a maximum print area. We show it on the product page and in the quote. Your design must fit within this area.
Minimum text size
The minimum recommended text size is 6 pt. Very fine text or details may be lost. For small print areas we recommend a simplified logo.
Mock-up and approval
Before production you will receive a free digital mock-up. We start production only after your written approval. Changes are not possible after approval.
Tolerances
A print position deviation of 1–2 mm is acceptable and is not considered a defect. This is normal for industrial printing.
Copyright and content
Client responsibility
By submitting a design, the client confirms that they have the right to use it. We accept no liability for copyright infringements arising from material supplied by the client.
What we do not print
We reserve the right to refuse a print job if the content infringes copyright law or contains inappropriate content, profanity, or sexual or violent imagery.
Brand logos
When producing personalised products, we follow brand copyright guidelines. The client must have permission to use all logos and artwork they submit.
